I'm now offering to give public testimonials to the power and knowledge that has come from knowing Jesus Christ in my life.

I came to the Lord as a teenager suffering from severe academic learning disabilities and ADHD as a child.

After my enlistment from overseas sea duty with the Coast Guard, I returned home and was able to study under a man who held a Baptist; D.D., Th.D., and Ph.D. in Psychology. I learned to actually walk with Christ in the Spirit, and learned to be able to discern his voice in my life from 1983-1989.

God used my academic shortfalls, as it was more important to Him that I be able to hear his voice in my life, rather than just understand good theology, and memorize verses from the Bible. This led me into Evangelism, in being a more effective minister of the Gospel to the lost.

In 1997 after more than 20 years of prayer for a suitable wife, the Lord led me to Elaine.

She was not born again when I started my courtship with her, and I had asked forgiveness before hand in dating her.

The Lord started to shatter my concepts of what proper "Church dating" should look like.

He instead moved into Elaine's heart providentially within a couple of months, as I continued to be obedient to His direction alone, and not holding to the council of men.

This was the beginning for me in hearing the Lord as a Shepherd, rather than a sheep.

In 1999 a year after our marriage, I received a vision in being given a "Pastors Heart".

In  2003 I was mobilized for Operation Enduring Freedom, on Valentine's day with my Army Reserve unit serving as a PLTN SGT and EOR to the Commander.

In 2004 I undertook training for Deacons and Elders at my local Church, even surpassing many formally educated men within the leadership, to the surprise of many, including myself and then was elected to the office of Deacon.

In 2005 I started to become frustrated in my servitude to the Church, and even sought independent ordination in the mail, just to be able to gain some credibility when sharing my experiences publically. I earned a couple honorary doctorates, yet soon discovered these were often laughed at by others.

Two days later, on my 20 years of Military service while in training, I suffered numerous massive heart attacks, and was not expected to survive the night.

Jesus Christ lay shoulder to shoulder next to me poolside, during water survival training as my heart continued to stop.

I promised the Lord that I would no longer keep my mouth shut about him if he allowed me to live!
