2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Is not some obscure theological doctrine, it is exactly what Paul meant and experienced when being “in” Christ, yet most Bible-ists seem to have no clue as to what he was speaking about nowadays!

Satan is nothing if not a mimic of the genuine work of God. He has something to help pass himself off, and those who are doing church with him, as the same as what disciples have.

Does the Lord God of Israel stand on the sand, and move with the tides of sewage in society, or is He on the Rock too? Why would He tell you to build your house on the Rock and then be a devious vacillating politician sort Himself?
Why do so many take the view that the Lord God does not mean what He says and moves with political expediency? Doesn’t that make Him too, in people’s minds, a mere politician? Do you really want a politician for a God?

Just how we are, and you will be used like this. Cannot understand why you are being attacked in church? Our Lord uses those who have the Truth and are loyal to Him to testify to those who are going the wrong way, and it is not comfortable sometimes.

The thrill of being the Lord’s can get overrun by the horrors on all hands. There is nothing we can do about the horrors around, but we can pay attention to the core and keep the thrill and joy of being a child of God.

I am stunned by the huge anti-Reformation lies, and anti-God therefore that are being told in the name of Jesus Christ today. The new Catholics are all over the place and loads of people whose foundations are dodgy are being led off into utter wickedness.
