Hosea 4:6 (KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me!
Wake up oh sleeper… Ephesians 5:14, (KJV) “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”
So you don’t think worldly knowledge is important? One’s education of history, and specifically western civilization is of grave importance to understand: should our children perish for lack of knowledge, and critical thinking, in that we must all recognize human depravity, and a need for a Savior!
When I worked in street ministry Dr. Gross (holding a Phd in phycology) gave us all a test to see how much we learned was factual ( based on history) and what was fictional in rewritten “social studies” and even high school english. I was surprised to learn that much of what I had been taught was false information, and this was in the 1980’s! Humanism was the new curriculum, which started after WW2 and imported from Europe, as the United States then had a teacher shortage at the time. From that time forward the educational system has been built on the foundation of Humanism (which was ruled by the Supreme Court as a religion) ; yet is anti-God, and now is widely known as Cultural Marxism today. One of the tactics taught by Marxists, was in convincing Christians that it is wrong to be involved in “worldly politics” in an effort to push their most ungodly and anti western ideals on a free people.
It is tragic that some Christians will assert that we only need listen to the Lord, while denying the need for truthful dialog, specifically geared towards our children in this age of great delusion! How selfish it is to become complacent in one’s belief system, simply because you refuse to be involved in the great “politically motivated” delusions taught to our children in an age of delusion which screams out for reason and truth, rather than rhetoric!
Below is a video well worth watching: explaining why historical and even political dialog: is critical for a believer in Jesus Christ!
Don’t become complacent in butt curling up in a corner with your Bible, while the whole of humanity desperately needs truth and light to be taught and understood, and not kept under a bushel basket!
