It all goes back to original sin, like when Cain murdered Able out of jealousy! Though shall not covet what thy neighbor has, it is the Lord who gives or takes away. It is righteousness that either exalts or destroys a nation, not its wealth. If we forget God, then He will either correct us or destroy us!
