Foreknowledge does not necessitate predestination:1 Samuel 23:7–13 It is very important that we take the whole of the scriptures within the contexts they were meant to be taught. Human beings get bogged down in certain points of the scriptures within their natural understanding, so it is always indispensable to follow the Holy Spirit as we grow into a deeper understanding of who God is, and what is of paramount importance to Him. I have discovered that no matter how many studies I may do, that only when I have a “need to know” some deeper or more personal part of the scripture, only then does the Lord reveal it to me. Up until that point, I do the best that I can with the Bible. I’m not at all sure the Lord wants us to understand everything in scripture until we are required to know it!!!
