It has been said that the doctrine of once saved always saved is a “Broadroader’s” doctrine; yet in fact, it is a sound Biblical doctrine!

This video may completely change your life and relationship with God. It is that good ! Derek Prince shows from the Scriptures what the Bible says the Gospel is. What it means for us. Many people talk about the Gospel without actually knowing what it is. This is a very clear message on the most important teaching in the Bible. It is English audio with Chinese Subtitles
I painfully became aware after 7 years of fellowship with a legalistic “Lordship Salvation” group on the net; the complete lack of love shown to me, in one of the greatest trials of my life while facing the very real possibility of my my own death, for the second time around! Many of my earlier videos reflect the very sharp teachings of a brother who is so dogmatic in the faith – that he has forgotten about his own fallibility and even has convinced himself and others of “their own righteousness” by a “continual abiding” in Christ! This is a very dangerous and deceptive trap, as even to those who have been truly born again of spirit, should never become so proud in condemning others for not keeping legalism. Or in other words, believe that they have something to do with moving into the Kingdom of God in and of their own efforts!!!
I chose to publish this video on the site as an example to such heretical teachings while using the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and subverting the Gospel into something the Lord never intended it to be! I would hope that people could learn from my mistakes, rather than having to suffer the consequences in listening to “another Gospel” like I made the mistake in doing!
I know that most of my traffic comes from being one of the original followers of “Lucas Labrador”, ( I will be gracious and not use his real name) who I was ingratiated with for a solid seven years, until Donald Trump got elected a President; and I was later accused of being “chastened of God” for my political views by this “dog”, as for an infection on my heart’s hardware I received while in the military. Which has since been removed by the man who invented laser surgery to the heart, and the Lord graciously allowed me to meet, Praise God!
I may not be the best public speaker, but I can tell you that I have never been a “boot licker” ; once I discover an unrepentant personality disorder in which * I believe is used in twisting the Gospel of the Lord for their own following having become devoid of Grace, “puffed up” in exclusiveness, while comparing himself to other brethren and full of Spiritual Pride in attempting to follow the Lord – unlike any other.
I earnestly beseech you to listen to what is being said by Dr. Prince, as it is the most fundamental aspect of the Gospel and Faith in Jesus Christ alone, which you will ever need to live a victorious life in Christ!
On board one of my tugboats I had a man tell me once that I have had enough experiences for three lifetimes! Of course, I ate up that recognition, especially when constantly made to feel like I was the lesser early in life.
The Character of a person I have always felt was worth far more than earthly accomplishments, and yes, you can have both, but most people get “puffed up” in ego by their status in the world with few remaining humble enough in realizing that most of their personal gains are but a gift from God, and not of themselves!
You will remember that Jesus told Pilot that all the authority he was given on earth, was by his Father who was in heaven. With that, Pilot attempted to wash his hands of the Lord’s condemnation by men!
I have known a few men who remained humble, despite their outstanding success in the world, one was a cousin of mine who had been a paratrooper during World War Two. He understood the value of a man’s character despite his station in life.
But then we will always have the ones who I call the “smoke blowers”; these type people create an illusion of grandeur while projecting their importance onto others. This is not to say that they have not had their successes and experiences in life, only that they tend to be creative in over-dramatizing themselves, often at the expense of others. This is what allot of politicians do, they enhance their importance and sometimes will even fabricate stories, thus drawing more attention to themselves.
Like most people who have known some degree of struggle within their lives, I find these types of people repulsive. I had once met a man who served in the infantry during the First World War (The great War) in France under General Black Jack Pershing; I was humbled and amazed at what was most important to him: wool blankets which he pointed to on our museum ship, he got very excited exclaiming how wonderful it was to have a wool blanket while in the trenches of WW I, in keeping warm from the snow and rain, and then he added, if you had two blankets; boy you were in heaven!
I then realized just how spoiled our society has become to those who had lived 100 years ago! The character of these old timers often embraced the very basics of life’s necessities, as if they were of a great prize, which was very sobering to me!
One thing which remains consistent to me, is that the one who struggles in life, seems to develop a greater character then people who have simply been given earthly wealth and status. And oftentimes people who increase their prominence in the world tend to forget either wear they came from and will often look down upon others, who may have overcome even greater obstacles within their lives!
This goes far beyond race, gender, beliefs, or place of origin; rather I am speaking about the character of the individual soul, the merit of an individual and what they do with what they have been given yet overcome. Jesus Christ, (my Lord) exemplifies to perfection the Supreme character of what a man or women should actually be; he was God incarnate yet was humble enough to wash the dirt from others feet!
This should be the nature exemplified in all of us who claim his Glorious name; yet “blowing smoke” in the face of others we consider as “lesser” should be shameful to us who have been given so very much in being redeemed.
Are You Obsessed by Something?
Who is the man that fears the Lord? PSALM 25:12
Are you obsessed by something? You will probably say, “No, by nothing,” but all of us are obsessed by something— usually by ourselves, or, if we are Christians, by our own experience of the Christian life. But the psalmist says that we are to be obsessed by God. The abiding awareness of the Christian life is to be God Himself, not just thoughts about Him. The total being of our life inside and out is to be absolutely obsessed by the presence of God. A child’s awareness is so absorbed in his mother that although he is not consciously thinking of her, when a problem arises, the abiding relationship is that with the mother. In that same way, we are to “live and move and have our being” in God (Acts 17:28), looking at everything in relation to Him, because our abiding awareness of Him continually pushes itself to the forefront of our lives.
If we are obsessed by God, nothing else can get into our lives— not concerns, nor tribulation, nor worries. And now we understand why our Lord so emphasized the sin of worrying. How can we dare to be so absolutely unbelieving when God totally surrounds us? To be obsessed by God is to have an effective barricade against all the assaults of the enemy.
“He himself shall dwell in prosperity…” (Psalm 25:13). God will cause us to “dwell in prosperity,” keeping us at ease, even in the midst of tribulation, misunderstanding, and slander, if our “life is hidden with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3). We rob ourselves of the miraculous, revealed truth of this abiding companionship with God. “God is our refuge…” (Psalm 46:1). Nothing can break through His shelter of protection. It is the Lord who has shown me that the power to overcome “the sufferings of Christ” within us, is to realize the great love and mercy he has shown to us. It is much easier to be critical with our feelings within, than it is to yield to the Lord’s love within, and to obtain the power to forgive others for the many injustices we may have suffered. Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

1 Corinthians 4: 19-21
19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. 20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. 21 What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

Matthew 16:13-20 (KJV)
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
“The Christ, the son of the living God” is the Rock of Ages, the promised one for the remission of sin. “Upon this truth” He will build His Church (Eklisia), and the gates of hell shall not prevail!
Also, Jesus (the Bride Groom) is saying that he will build his “church” – he does not say that man will build his church. Man (humanity) has no control of how the Father decides to work within a person’s life (or not) by the power of the Holy Spirit. Many churches preach the gospel, yet it is the Lord God who decides to empower and fill his elect.
All the preaching and “temple building” in the world will not affect God’s will for our lives, as He alone is sovereign moving in his own providence in whom he chooses to do a work.
Only an anti-Christ would dare and assume that they have this power in moving independent of God’s leading.
Unfortunately, this is what a large portion of the so-called “church” has become. I believe this is symbolized in Revelations 17-18, the Chief anti-Christ (Harlot, an unfaithful bride) and her daughters, the offspring of the Roman Catholic Church – even the so-called Protestants who may also be unfaithful to the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.
This is those who have a form of Godliness, but not the power thereof, and the faithful are instructed to avoid such as these. The Bible does not say to try to convert or to “protest” them, but rather to simply avoid them.
If one is to repent (change their mind) about such heretical teachings, and earnestly and humbly follow Christ, that brother or sister is then restored to the rest of the brethren.
Moving independent of our Lord’s leading in “building something for Jesus – the do it yourself salvation plan, has become epidemic today, primarily because of the “lack of knowledge” (spiritual) that an Elder is required to understand, along with sound doctrines.
I won’t mention any names, but a friend of mine told me that the Eastern Shore, (wear I live) is about to be invaded by yet another tambourine beating, guitar strumming, hand waving charismatic personalities in which I had fled from earlier in my life from the overcrowded western shore, and back to my roots, I might add! I now feel invaded by the very people I attempted to move far away from!
To me, you cannot have a “mega church movement” as the Lord God moves in individuals and not on mass like a bunch of cattle or Catholics (at the risk of being offensive). Rather the Lord moves quietly amongst the hearts who are still and will listen to him he has done a work within.
I will stop there, as I do not wish to paint people with too broad a brush, but I can tell you that the Lord is the one who builds his church, and this is not done in the flesh like at a carnival; the word derived from carnal!
Be still and know that “I am God” – the Bible teaches; it does not say to build something for Jesus, even in our misplaced zeal.
I have noticed over the years that most ministers emphasize attending a church and reading the Bible. Yet I hear few teach about following Jesus and moving in obedience to his leading within us!
To me, this is tragic in shepherding people in a form of Godliness, yet never revealing the actual power thereof.
It is even more wicked to assimilate the Lord God of the Bible with “other gods” for the sake of building world unity. This is no different spiritually, then what was once attempted at Babble.
This, in my estimation, is to build up the new world order so that eventually Lucifer (Satan) can come to power on earth, being worshiped as God and deceiving many.
The Academia of Scriptural Theologies, coupled with other religions for global powers to control, is nothing less than demonic in nature. This “Chief ant-Christ” of Rome, (the women who rides the beast) and her “unfaithful daughters” will eventually usher in: “That Wicked, the Man of Sin”; who will then be cut down by “the sword of His mouth, and the brightness of his coming”!
It is imperative that believers understand how to walk in the Spirit of Truth, (in accordance with the scriptures) so as not to be deceived by false teachers and their demons in strong delusions.
I have read a lot of good books over the years about walking in the Holy Spirit, to include one of my first books the Sovereignty of God by A.W. Pink. Oswald Chambers and Watchmen Knee have also had a tremendous impact of my life, along with Jonathan Edwards and many others.
John 10: 27-28 commentary:
But ultimately my walk was most effected by the Lord himself in learning to “remain still” (as dead) and simply listen to him! “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me” John 10:27. The second part reads in verse 28: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
It was very difficult for me to find broadcasts that spoke about hearing the Lord by most preachers, which I found incredibly strange since this was one of the foundational principles of walking with the Lord! It is my concern, that most ministers focus on doctrinal teachings within the scriptures, but then rarely seem to preach on following the Lord himself, which the heart of the scriptures are indeed teaching about!
I can remember my Mom who was a Women’s Bible teacher for decades telling me that “you are right, our church spoke about (their missionaries) actually hearing the Lord” … I thought to myself, well they had better realize they can hear him! And yet, this subject is hardly ever spoken about in most churches and has been a cause of great heart ache to me over the years!
Then we have the second part of the verse, which seems to me that if you get the first part mentioned above, then you must overcome those who would detract from verse 28; as in – losing your Salvation!
I truly believe that Satan recognizes the significance of these 2 verses and does everything in his power to at the very least, causes our flesh to either overlook them or worse yet – to make us think we have something to do with it!
The most we can do is to put on the armor of God, which we have been provided by our Lord’s atonement for sin. In both cases if we choose to either not listen, or to try and be Holy in ourselves; is both moving in independence, rather than dependence upon the work of the cross! This is why the Lord spoke to me years ago while nearly drowning in the surf; saying “you can do nothing”!
I believe Satan does not want a believer to grasp the significance of these verses, which is; that none of our spiritual walk is within our mortal power to obtain – no matter how hard we try in the flesh.
The key to walking with the Lord, is in simply learning how to yield to His Holy Spirit within us – Christ in us, the hope of glory.
Missionary Evangelist Robert Breaker talks about Politics and the Bible.
It does matter people…
Satan desires to destroy our faith in any way he can, for the more mature brethren he uses doctrinal beliefs and concepts, in an effort to derail and put to ruin our faith. Be aware, this can happen to anyone within the realm of battle, right up to the point we’re absent from the body, and present with the Lord! Remember, Salvation is of God, that no man may boast!
Anything: which takes away from Christ’s completed work upon the cross, I see as Satanic!
Lordship Salvation is like asking the Lord where his grace and mercy ends? It does not take into account that we have no power over sin, and never will! It is like “half stepping” the eternal work of the cross on our behalf, making at least part of Christ’s work on cross ineffective, without having the believer’s consent and cooperation. This seems to be a satanic accusation to me, from what I learned from the experience of this human pride, instead of humility in love.
In actuality, the Lord goes before his people the elect, so that they may attain to eternal security, (which is Christ’s work) once having started with the Holy Spirit, (by design) in which we are sealed until the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30)! I hadn’t realized the harshness of this heresy, until I was coldly discarded by these type brethren for simply not seeing eye to eye with their beliefs about me, in just how cold and calculated this hidden pride actually is, and how it is used by Satan to accuse actual brethren, and destroy some people’s faith.

Matthew 24:12 (KJV) 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
This is a natural reaction to the times we live in, (in our flesh) yet the Holy Spirit who is in all true believers, does not change, and unless we harden our hearts to him (the Holy Spirit), He will continue to lead us in love for Him and other brethren! But be aware of false teachers in these evil days…
The continuing atonement for our sin is found in Christ alone by faith, and not of ourselves, so that no man may boast…
Jeremiah 33:88 I will cleanse them from all the guilt of their sin against me, band I will forgive all the guilt of their sin and rebellion against me.
Hebrews 10:1–2 For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. 2 Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins?
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The uncompromising basics of faith in Christ.
Ephesians 2: 1-10 (ESV)
By Grace Through Faith
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, *following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, unmade us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:11-22 (ESV)
One in Christ
11 Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— 12 remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down tin his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15 by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16 and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. 17 And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access in cone Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, 4 but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 kin whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into la holy temple in the Lord. 22 In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
I am excited to promote this book: “Pulling Down Strongholds” by the late Derek Prince. The author was recommended to me by a Pastor I met while in street ministry, a mature man of God who also assisted the late Dr. Gross in exorcism’s in the 1980’s.
At this time, I was learning and growing in my understanding of the scriptures / spirituality, and how they applied to the world all around me.
It has taken years to move beyond the “Church Pew” and into the battle. This is a must read for any mature Christian brother who wishes to break through all the misconceptions and various teachings within the Church today!
Exactly right, and “glitches in the flesh” (as I’ve heard it put) show that we are all still subject to carnality, even if not in willful disobedience to God, we still are all dependent upon Christ’s work on the cross which only comes by grace alone.
Hmm, it seems this post’s link is no longer available, I am saddened the author has taken down his sight…
I haven’t the ability to do justice to this post, which was a type of book review by a brother known as “A Country Boy” yet I am able to sort of recap some of the principles of what Repentance entails as we battle to be followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Christian life is a Spiritual War, when we are born again the Lord has “freely given” the righteousness of Christ to us, because of his (Son’s) atonement for our sins on the cross in our behalf. This is the love of God put into action, the prophesied “Savior to the world” from the stock of Israel.
When we initially are drawn by God to Christ’s completed work on the cross by the Holy Spirit, we come to initial repentance of our sins. The person who actually receives this gift of Salivation is sealed to the day they are with the Lord by the Holy Spirit. This redeeming work within those whom the Lord has chosen to do a work in is a gift from God by Grace, so that no man may boast!
When we come to Christ we are a “new creation” to God, and when he looks upon us, he no longer sees our sin, but instead the blood of his son shed on the cross, for the remission of our sin. I use the word sin in the singular rather than sins in the plural, as the blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin, so it is redundant to look upon any particular sin to focus upon.
When we start to follow Christ by “faith” (which is a principle of the spiritual law, much like gravity is a principle of the physical law). So, that in Christ by faith, we have been equipped to be “overcomers” to sin, and the enemy, the liar and accuser of the brethren; Satan.
Repentance simply means to change one’s mind, so as we enter into deeper “sanctification” (separation from the world to God) by the continued grace of God by faith, which was freely given to us, and little by little “we change our minds” (repent) about the sins which have ensnared us.
This is a lifelong prospect, yet the more committed we are to “put on the full armor of God”, (which we now are equipped with) and do battle, so to be overcomers to sin, and the enemy, the more we move forward in the Lord from victory to victory within our lives!
The most important thing to remember, is that “Total Victory” has already been won for us by Christ, something the enemy doesn’t want us to grasp! Satan still, even though defeated at the cross, constantly accuses the believer in Christ, to God the Father, of being less than adequate to deserve such a gift. These are my own words used in trying to describe just what type of battle we are in, even though the forces of Satan have already been defeated at the cross.
One of the primary reasons Satan does this, is because of his prideful & rebellious nature he has, and he cannot help himself – so to speak. Once the “born again believer” starts to understand the nature of these battles, and who Christ truly is, he is able to defeat the enemy at every level, and will naturally be “repentant” (change their mind) to every sinful shortfall within the flesh; (as he becomes convicted of the Holy Spirit within) not of himself, but of the Lord. Yet this does take some time to grow in Christ, while coming to this spiritual understanding.
I always remember when Jesus warned Peter, that Satan “desired to sift him”, that is “catch out any clumps of dirt which he could discover”, I believe in order to accuse Peter to God : as not being worthy enough to receive the grace of God, and being redeemed in Christ.
It is important to remember that to “redeem something” for silver, you must possess the promissory note; and that note certifies to God, the work which Jesus did for us on the cross! So, fight the good fight, and run the good race, so that redemptory note hold great value for us when we finish!
The following is an excerpt from Curtis Hutson’s book: “Repentance: What Does The Bible Teach?”
“I recently asked a large congregation if there was anyone present who had not sinned in the last week to raise his hand, and not a single hand was lifted. I don’t know of anyone who lives a single day without sinning. Now to be sure, you may not commit murder, adultery, or you may not rob a bank, but you sin nonetheless. Romans 14:23 says, “For whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” That simply means that if we do anything without a conviction of God’s approval, then it is sinful. And I suppose everyone is guilty of this every day of his life.
When I was a small boy, I recall hearing an old preacher pray, “Lord, forgive us of the sins of omission as well as the sins of commission.” There is…

Core Biblical Doctrines must exist, or you’re simply not one of the Lord’s people.
Yet the Lord’s people are to try to obtain to the example in Ephesians 4: v 2-3 which is speaking about having unity in the spirit, (when we are baptized into Christ) at Salvation, and then as we grow and move forward.
Anything which detracts from such a teaching is simply heretical and dangerous to the flock.
Brethren may be corrected and encouraged in love, but they should never be rejected by personal judgmental-ism because of personality conflicts. As unity (even for the spiritually mature) must be diligently preserved as: Ephesians 4 vs 13 instructs, (until we attain to the “fullness of Christ”).We are to strengthen each other, until the day we meet with the Lord – and not destroy: unless of course false doctrines are being taught as destructive to the faith – known as heretical doctrines which we are to reject.
It is important that one understands the very serious nature “of thinking they have gotten beyond sin”, as this is Pharisaic, proud and destructive to the grace of the Lord; not only within one’s own life, but in the life of others!
These type of “Lordship Salvation teachings” can be very deceptive, and helps to destroy the faith and unity of actual brethren. It may actually drive many away from the faith, if this heretical type of teachings persists within a fellowship. The Bible instructs us to remove that heretic (reject) from the faithful, after being warned by the other Elders; in the case they refuse to repent. This is also why accountability to other elders is extremely important, Biblically speaking.
Below is a podcast which I have found very useful, it speaks about personality conflicts and healthy relationships within the body of Christ. It is important to know the sound doctrines of the faith as not to be deceived by false teachings.
